The South End

Largely residential, Ocean City’s south end also has its share of green parks, nifty shops and cafés. Wide avenues make it a favorite for bicyclists – and nature lovers flock south en route to Corson’s Inlet State Park, a picturesque area of unspoiled, undeveloped beach and dunes on the island’s southern tip.

It’s quieter on this end of the island—a short walk to the beach and home to hundreds of favorite fishing spots—including the Rush Chattin bridge, designed and built specifically to accommodate anglers, with stunning views of the blue inlet between Ocean City and Strathmere.
