The Gardens

Known as The Gardens, the neighborhoods of Ocean City’s northern tip are quiet and beautiful, with curving, tree-lined streets of stately homes in many architectural styles. Some of the island’s oldest and most historic homes are in The Gardens.

Overlooking Great Egg Harbor Inlet, with dramatic views of Atlantic City, the beaches here are wide and peaceful. Traffic is lighter in this part of town, making it a pleasant place to hike or bike in search of some solitude, a bite to eat, new beach gear or a vantage point to watch the surfers dancing on the waves.
